Life has become ever more complex, challenging and even threatening, so there is more to clutter up the surface of our hearts than there was in Yeshua’s day. Yet his healing methods anticipate the way that human consciousness will slowly, almost imperceptibly, evolve to be what it is today, with its extreme focus on outer material concerns and the exclusive focus on the individual self. We have literally painted our selves slowly into a corner over the past 500-600 years.
Yeshua shows clearly how we can find our way out of a sense of isolation, hopelessness and the dead end of existence into the remembrance of who we really are and what we came here to do, individually and collectively as a human species.
For this reason, I have decided to combine for the first time in a new course Yeshua’s healing way as found in both the Beatitudes in Matthew and Luke. While I have taught the way in Matthew for many years, including in a recorded course from 20 years ago, I now feel that our human consciousness needs the potent medicine I find in both of his healing methods. He used both of these with his students to a) reframe collective and individual trauma into empowerment, including a deeper connection with nature and b) protect against self-delusion, inflation and entitlement, that is, to ensure a sense of honesty about our life in the present moment, which he calls as hasha. Even if you have done an earlier course with me, you will find much new in this one, which will run for 11 weeks from January 9.
In the course I am also including some of Yeshua’s teachings and practices on healing from the Gospels of Mark, Thomas, Philip and Mary Magdalene. These inner teachings bring us deeper into the province of Holy Wisdom, in Aramaic Hakima, or by her Greek name known as Sophia.
