A Retreat and Pilgrimage with the Aramaic Prayer of Jesus

For the first time since the Covid epidemic, Neil will offer an in-person retreat on the gateway to Jesus’ native spirituality. He will include his research and insights from the past ten years and the publication of his 2022 book Revelations of the Aramaic Jesus as well as from his recent online courses.
The retreat will offer an experience of chanting, moving and meditating with the Aramaic Prayer of Jesus (the “Lord’s Prayer”) with the originator of this meditative work. Throughout our time together, we will also share an individual, silent Aramaic body prayer, which can added to one’s daily meditation or practice. Whether or not you have joined in an Aramaic Jesus retreats previously, this is a wonderful doorway into Jesus’ native spirituality and way of meditation.

Art as Zikr Conference
May 9-10, 2026, Haus des Friedens, Vienna, Austria
Five presenters, including Neil, from various Sufi traditions, from Europe and South Asia, reflect on artists as spiritual revolutionaries in this two-day conference.
Through a rhythmic flow of practice and reflection, art becomes a living act of what the Sufis call remembrance (zikr).
Our weekend together includes:
• Collective Dhikr: Shared practices of spiritual remembrance and stillness.
• Sacred Music: Immersing in the healing power of sound.
• Creative Contemplation: Guided sessions exploring art as a bridge to the Divine Artist, al-Musawwir.
• Shared Inquiry: Meaningful dialogue and connection with a global interfaith community.
